A Path to Hope...because of your kindness

A Message from Nancy Sawle Knobloch, Executive Director

As the New Year approaches, I want to take this opportunity to say “Thank You” for your kindness and generosity in 2020. In a year where so many people are suffering, it has been truly gratifying to see the outpouring of support for our organization and the people we serve.

During this difficult time, many people are isolated and unable to see loved ones. Many have lost their jobs and are struggling to make ends meet. Many feel like they’re just surviving day to day.

Yes, these times are unprecedented; but THANKS TO YOUR SUPPORT, we have an opportunity to continue to show kindness to those in need in our community. Yes, our community.

Every week we check in by phone to families to see what they need. The Emergency Fund that YOU HELPED BUILD continues to provide basic needs… delivering meals and groceries, paying for medicine and medical bills, ensuring that everyone who needs mental health therapy has barrier-free access regardless of ability to pay, making sure staff and clients have the equipment needed to ensure successful virtual mental health therapy and educational support, and much more.

Our Counseling, Senior & Caregiver, and Education programs continue to strengthen the wellbeing and life success of hundreds of residents in our communities because of  the Annual Appeal  funding YOU HELP BUILD, enabling us to provide professional counseling, senior and caregiver support, and innovative academic, social-emotional, and wrap-around supports to Latino first-twelfth graders and their families.

Our community needs our support, our compassion, and our kindness. YOU have made that kindness possible.

P.S. It's not too late to help us wrap up our Annual Appeal with a year-end donation. If you have already supported the Appeal, we are most grateful for your support.
