Liliana Cardona is a bilingual Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. She received her master’s degree in counseling psychology from Adler University in Chicago.
At Family Service of Lake County, Liliana practices individual therapy with adults and children, in addition to couples and family therapy. During the first session, Liliana will establish an empathetic relationship by listening to the client’s expression of feelings and motivation for seeking therapeutic treatment.
Liliana uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Existentialism Theory, and Art Therapy in her work. She helps clients suffering from various symptoms, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar, and trauma-related disorders. Liliana also uses hypnotherapy as a tool to alleviate and heal symptoms that are affecting functioning.
