Eevon Swilley earned her Masters of Social Work degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Her concentration included mental health on a micro and mezzo scale. As a social worker, Eevon’s goal is to assist individuals, families, and groups in reaching their highest potential. Eevon is a compassionate licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) trained to deal with diverse populations. Her passion includes working with individuals who suffer from depression, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma and co-occurring disorders. Eevon provides motivational interviewing, cognitive and dialectical behavior therapy, in an inpatient and outpatient setting. Through work experience and training, Eevon has learned to see clients through a trauma-informed lens. Her knowledge in safety planning and skilled crisis interventions has improved clients’ functioning in times of disarray. Eevon’s plans include continuing to treat mental health disorders in vulnerable populations.
